Practicing yoga is clearly beneficial for bodies and our minds. It is important to approach Yoga with an open and flexible mind ( it’s OK to begin with a inflexible) beginning your yoga practice without expectations or attachments is important but it is also important to have a larger goal. The optimist will find beauty and adventure regardless of where they go while the pessimist may believe that time is being wasted. Being optimistic and being directed is ideal.
Guru ( or teacher here, as we are not in India and this is not our tradition) The teachers job should be to shed light or darkness has covered. To help us find her own way with steady, strict, yet loving guidance.
