Karrie HeadstandClass Descriptions

We offer a variety of classes. Restorative to challenging. All classes are inspired by the Tradition of Ashtanga Yoga, which is the original Yoga. Our teachers are trained to observe the limitations and experience in the room and guide each and every student to their fullest potential. Be prepared to learn movement with breath (vinyasa) and posture with proper alignment as to heal, strengthen, stretch and tone the body. It is our goal to not just lead our students through a great yoga class, but to leave you with a full yoga experience that has exercised the body, cleared the mind and softened your soul.

Yoga Bala now offers Spinning Zen classes. A Yoga/SPIN fusion class – the best way to incorporate some cardio into your life. Check the schedule below.

*Level I – At a slow/moderate pace, beginners learn and improve on their poses, while experienced students focus on the foundations of their practice.

*Level 2 – More challenging postures are presented and poses may be held longer than Level I classes. completion of Level 1 or a moderate level of fitness is recommended.

*Level 3 – Arm balances and deeper backbends are introduced. This class is structured to challenge each student and playfully work to one’s edge. Postures are generally deeper as to build muscular strength and endurance. completion of level 2 or a moderate level of fitness recommended.

Yoga Bala is open every day for classes except for:  Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day and Easter Sunday
