Yoga School Mysore 101

Level: beginner or anyone interested in learning about self practice

Class limit to 16 people. Please pre- register

We will discuss what exactly a "Mysore" practice is. The true tradition of Mysore as taught by Pattabhi Jois. We will also discuss and create a practice for students newer to the concept of Self Navigation. After this workshop students will have a solid guide for a self practice at the studio or at home. Then if you can join on Monday evening 10-30-19 for free. Mysore Monday evening class. Begin exploring with YOUR practice at YOUR pace.

Question / answer on adjustments, postures, modifications, breath, and meditation will be a large part of this workshop. We will NOT be doing a full practice during this workshop. This is more of a learning talking note taking kinda day!

This particular school day is only open to Students who have previously taken a few classes with Karrie. Sorry no brand new students for this course. ( I just need to be familiar with your body/practice) There is always time to get in to regular classes before Sept 28th.

As always we will have a fabulous note worthy day. Practice, practice, practice!!

Stretch and Strength Training for the Yoga student (lower body)

All levels

Tight or weak Glutes, Quadriceps, Hamstrings? This workshop will focus on the lower body. We will begin with strengthen postures and proper alignment for feet, knees, and legs to compliment your overall Yoga Practice.

We will discuss and practice simple techniques which can easily be applied to any Yoga Class.

The second half of the workshop will focus on stretching and releasing tension in the lower body. Yin to compliment the Yang. Strengthen, Stretch, Release, and RELAX

As always we will end with a short meditation and mini Yoga Nidra.

2 part series. take one or both.

Session 1 -Oh my QUAD $28.

Session 2 -Upper Body $28.
